OPENING HOURS FOR THE VILLAS OF VARENNA AND VEZIO CASTLE

Villa Monastero

The opening hours of June 2020 to visit Villa Monastero will be as follows:

• house museum: open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 am to 7.30 pm
• botanical garden: open every day from 10.00 am to 7.30 pm

At this stage, access to the Botanical Garden and the House Museum will be allowed to individuals and families, but not to large groups. For a visit to the House Museum, a route will be organized that will allow entry and exit from separate entrances; also, the use of the mask will be mandatory.

The entrance ticket is 10 euros (8 euros only for the garden). Reduced admission for people over 65, groups of more than 10 people, Italian Touring Club members, members of the Gite in Lombardia Association and residents in the province of Lecco is 7 euros (5 euros only for the Garden). Reduced admission for children aged 12 to 18 and for students aged 18 to 24 is € 5 (€ 3.50 for the Garden only). Admission is free for children from 0 to 11 years old, people with disabilities and companions, Icom members, holders of the Lombardy Museums Pass, residents of Varenna and journalists.

Villa Cipressi

The opening of the botanical garden of Villa Cipressi is as follows:

• June: open every day from 10 am to 7.30 pm.
• July, August: open every day from 09.30 am / 8.00 pm
• September: open every day from 9.30 am / 7.30 pm
• October: open every day from 10 am to 6 pm
• November: 08 – 15 – 22 – 29 on 10.00 am / 5.00 pm
• December: 06 – 07 – 08 – 13 – 20 – 26 – 27 – 28 – 29 – 30 – 31 on 10.00 am / 5.00 pm

Vezio Castle

Vezio Castle is open every day according to the following times:

• From Monday to Friday open from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm
• Saturday and Sunday open from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm

Access will be allowed to a maximum of 50 people at a time, please respect the distances. Persons without a mask or with a body temperature greater than 37.5° C will not be able to access. No reservations are made. Falconry demonstrations are suspended until a later date.
The bar/restaurant is open.
