The number 116 117 is the national unic number to ask for no urgent health care assistance.

This service works in all the region and it’s available from Monday to Friday from 8 pm to 8am and during the holidays and the day before holidays 24 hours.

HOW IT WORKS

Who calls the number 116 117 will be in contact with a doctor or a competent operator. The doctor or the operator evaluates if it is possible to respond directly to the user or if it’s better to transfer the request to the reference service.

For urgent medical requests the call is directly transferred to the Territorial Emergency Service (number 118 or 112).
