NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE AND NO PARKING

Ordinance No. 36/2020

We inform you that on 03 SEPTEMBER 2020 the Municipality of Varenna will be affected by the passage of the 6th stage of the U23 Tour of Italy.

In order to guarantee the safety and security of the athletes, the following measures will be adopted:

 Closure to the traffic of Via Venini, Piazza S. Giorgio, Via IV Novembre and Viale Polvani with the prohibition of access from all adjacent streets and houses from 1.15 pm until the caravan has finished passing (vehicle transit “end of the cycling race”);

 in the locality of Fiumelatte, closure to traffic of the s.p. 72 with the prohibition of access from the locality of Pino and all the streets and houses adjacent to the provincial road from 1.15 pm until the caravan has finished passing (vehicle transit “end of the cycling race”);

 prohibition of access to Via Venini for vehicles coming from Via Enrico Fermi from 1.15 pm until the caravan has finished passing (vehicle transit “end of the cycling race”);

 parking ban with forced removal in all motorcycle/car stalls, including the stalls reserved for the parking of vehicles serving disabled people, located in Viale Polvani, Via IV Novembre (adjacent to the town hall), Piazza S. Giorgio, Via Venini in front pharmacy and in front of the “Monte Codeno” hotel from 11.00 am until the caravan passes through (vehicle transit “end of the cycling race”) in the spaces indicated by appropriate signs.
