The Varenna Lake Festival celebrates its 41st anniversary this year and will take place on Saturday 31 August. The event will offer an aperitif in the Olivedo gardens starting from 2.00 pm with an equipped area with tables, where typical products of Italian cuisine will also be served starting from 7.00 pm. Starting at 8.00 pm music in the company of: “50 hertz pop rock band” At 10.15pm there will be the blessing of the boats at Riva Grande. The evening will then be enlivened by a fireworks display. At 11.30pm, along the Giorgio Mornico walkway and from the lakeside, you can admire the fireworks, the protagonists of the evening. For the occasion, Navigazione Laghi has organized a special car ferry ride departing from Varenna at 00.30, destined for Menaggio and Bellagio, thus allowing you to reach Varenna also from the entire central basin of the Lario. It is organized by the Pro Loco of Varenna, with the patronage of the Municipality of Varenna. In case of bad weather the fires will be cancelled.
