On Friday, August 14, the Varenna Festival, now in its 7th edition, renews one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the summer with the traditional “Waiting for Ferragosto” celebration.
Starting at 10:00 PM, the charming Piazza San Giorgio will provide the perfect setting for an evening of music, fun, and celebration, featuring a live DJ set by professional DJ Freddy Barri, who will entertain residents, tourists, and visitors of all ages with an engaging musical selection designed to keep everyone dancing throughout the night.
This special event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the arrival of Ferragosto together in one of the most enchanting locations on Lake Como, surrounded by the unique atmosphere of Varenna’s historic town centre.
