BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES ABOUT THE BAND
Cani Sciolti is undoubtedly one of the leading cover bands in the Italian music scene. With an annual average of over 100 concerts and a lineup of exceptionally high quality, the Piacenza-based group has performed in all the main venues specialized in this type of show, garnering unanimous success everywhere. Since 1993, when Matteo Magni (vocals) introduced the group to the public for the first time, the band has undergone numerous changes, just as their show has evolved, spanning from pop to folk to the most contemporary hits. The current lineup, boasting over thirty years of activity, is made up of professional artists with high-level experience. In addition to Matteo Magni, the band includes Gaetano Celotti on bass, Aldo Zardoni on guitar from Rovato (Bs), Fabio Comovi on keyboards and programming from Piacenza, along with Max Repetti, and finally Riccardo Invernizzi on drums, who alternates with Marco “Nano” Orsi. All members share the desire to deliver a high-quality product rich in emotions. Careful organization, technical preparation of the setup, and attention to arrangements contribute to achieving this result. Cani Sciolti, with their name and thirty-year history, are part of that select group of cult bands and a reference point in the Italian musical entertainment sector, among the most imitated and requested. Since 2009, Cani Sciolti have also collaborated with Fiordaliso, Ivana Spagna, Adriano Pappalardo, Alexia, and others in live concerts in squares and festivals across Italy. Since 2010, they have created the most important Italian tribute show to Max Pezzali and 883, which quickly gained great interest, the “Max Pezzali Tribute” (www.maxpezzalitribute.it). Since 2013, they have presented another show dedicated to theaters titled “Cani Sciolti In Teatro.” In December 2013, the band received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the prestigious “Music Awards” in the city of Piacenza.
