The Varenna Festival – 7th Edition continues with another exciting event.
On Saturday, August 1, at 9:15 PM, Piazza San Giorgio will host Fearful Symmetry, a band that has established itself in recent years as one of the finest interpreters of the international progressive rock scene, combining musical precision, passion, and outstanding stage energy.

Founded in 2015 by a group of musicians united by their passion for progressive rock, Fearful Symmetry has developed an artistic project that goes far beyond the idea of a tribute band. Their performances offer a genuine journey through music history, bringing audiences the richness, sophistication, and expressive power of a genre that continues to captivate generations of listeners.
The concert will take the audience on a carefully curated musical journey spanning 1960s psychedelic rock, British progressive rock, symphonic pop-rock, and the powerful sounds of hard rock and proto-metal. It is a heartfelt tribute to legendary artists such as Pink Floyd, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Kansas, Toto, Uriah Heep, Iron Butterfly, The Animals, and Steven Wilson, while also celebrating Italy’s progressive rock excellence with Premiata Forneria Marconi (PFM).
Adding to the exclusivity of the evening will be the performance of genuine live rarities, including masterpieces such as Echoes, Firth of Fifth, Dodo/Lurker, No Quarter, Gypsy, Locomotive Breath, and Hydra—iconic songs that have left an indelible mark on rock history and are rarely performed by tribute bands.
