The programme of the 7th edition of the Varenna Festival, promoted and funded by the Municipality of Varenna in collaboration with the Elysium Chorus Association, continues.
On Sunday, 12 July, at 9:15 p.m., FREE ADMISSION, in the stunning setting of Piazza San Giorgio, audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy a high-energy and engaging tribute to the unforgettable Michael Jackson. Admission is free.
The evening will feature the KING OF POP TRIBUTE BAND, a project created to bring all the magic of the King of Pop to the stage through a show that faithfully recreates the original performances, combining outstanding musicianship, spectacular choreography, striking visual effects, and impressive stage production.
Passion, professionalism, and dedication have made the KING OF POP TRIBUTE BAND one of the most highly regarded tribute acts on the European scene. Founded in 2012, the band was the first tribute act in Europe to collaborate with Jennifer Batten, Michael Jackson’s legendary guitarist—an important recognition of the project’s artistic excellence.
The performance brings together musicians united by their love for Michael Jackson and his music, recreating with remarkable authenticity the sound, atmosphere, and energy of his legendary concerts. Audiences will be taken on a journey through the greatest hits of the artist who revolutionized the history of pop music.
Leading the band is Vittorio Masullo, singer and frontman, recognised by MTV as Italy’s finest Michael Jackson impersonator. With extraordinary attention to vocal performance, stage presence, and every interpretative detail, Masullo and the band perform the most iconic songs from Jackson’s catalogue, delivering an immersive and unforgettable live experience.
The 12 July concert is one of the highlights of this year’s Varenna Festival, offering both residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy an evening of world-class international music in one of the most enchanting settings on Lake Como.
