THE LAKE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL IS BORN: HONORARY PRESIDENT AMERICAN ACTOR RONN MOSS

An international celebration of cinema is born on the Upper Lake Como, a place beloved around the world. The Lake International Film Festival is coming, bringing Italian and international stars to Varenna, the jewel of Lake Como, to present their films, meet fans, and receive prestigious awards.

Everything originates from the initiative of American star Ronn Moss, in collaboration with his manager and producer Tiziano Cavaliere of Bros Group Italia and actor Stefano Sala. The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Varenna.

The festival will take place on September 12, 13, and 14, 2024, and will open with a concert by Ronn Moss in Piazza San Giorgio, in front of the cathedral. It will then unfold with a program including meetings, celebrations, podcasts, and screenings of short and feature films.

“We are excited to bring cinema to this unique and magical area of the lake. Varenna is a small town filled with alleys, villas, and cathedrals, a place rich in history. When you take a walk, it feels like you’re on an open-air film set,” commented Ronn Moss, the honorary president of the festival.
